Hi there, I just wanted to thank your guys who did the big pan paella at Sunderlandwick on Saturday. They arrived on time, setup quickly and everything looked great, all the paella went and some had seconds and thirds! Everyone loved it and I think you will get a few future orders from some of the party-goers! We were also impressed that you cleared up all peoples used plates etc, thank you.

Our wedding was in a marquee at my parents’ home and we wanted a barn dance feel to the day, all nice and relaxed. My dad came up with the idea of a hog roast, we had a look at many different companies and on reading lots of great reviews we settled on happy hogs and I’m glad we did, the pork was the best we’ve ever had, our guests loved it and there’s was more than enough to go around which was great so we just kept on nibbling. Having spoken to the owners a number of times they were helpful and pointed us in the right direction, we had the hog roast, with additional homemade sausages and free range chicken and it was all lovely. Can’t recommend them enough they were helpful, polite but not intrusive and helped us and recommended other companies we could use. Thank you Cassy

My wife and I both love America bbq food and having scoured the internet these guys were the only company doing exactly what we were looking for, the menu was authentic America smoked bbq food and tasted like the real thing, absolutely amazing, our guests couldn’t get enough of the ribs the meat just fell of the bones. Having had our 1st meeting with these guys everything was run efficiently and with no hassle, they even agreed to things that weren’t in our contract which I thought we would have to pay extra for but they said it was no problem. Loved the whole day and massive thanks to these guys to adding that something a bit different, we loved it xx

Afternoon Kate, All I know is there we're no issues and everyone went out there way to tell us how good the food was- best bit was watching one of the lasses just walking through the hall eating a long boat sausage because she couldn't wait!! Our wedding was a barn dance theme and we had a hog roast and salad for our main wedding breakfast, it was lovely, plenty of it and the service was fabulous, polite, friendly our guests were served on time and fast too which helped with our timings. Some meat and salad was left for us which was nice to have later on. Can’t fault a thing!

Everyone has said It was amazing even the vegetarians/vegan/free-from people were particularly impressed with the choice on offer as we booked for them too, so very very well catered for. There was plenty left for 2nds and the bar staff and my band also got fed well at the end. All of the staff were lovely and it was really appreciated.

Just had the best Spanish Paella for 200 guests for our wedding breakfast, our guests loved it and the smell of it cooking was amazing and tasted as good as it smelled. The day was great everything ran to time and the staff were friendly and had a chat with most of our guests about the paella which was nice. We didn’t want the 3 course 2 potato 3 carrots and roast beef dinner so this was perfect for us and there were lots left over so some guests had 2nd which i only heard great comments about.

Thank you for the delicious meal we have just had the Southwest bbq menu, what we had was just soo tasty our guests kept going back for more, the burgers with pulled pork on top and a good chow down on the ribs just made it for us, we wanted a relaxed no rules day and that’s what we got, the caterers were helpful kept us informed every step of the way and it was definitely great value for money, one guest had thirds.

We hired a vegetarian restaurant who were a little concerned about us hiring in an external hog roast company. Having explained this to Kate who worked with the venue as to not upset its customers did an awesome job, nothing was too much trouble, they cooked out of the way of the restaurant they parked their van out of sight, which all sounds a little daft but it really went above and beyond helping our venue feel at ease. Our friends and family loved the food and i know my brother had 4th's, it was delicious and all home-made which was very important to us, the service was excellent and hope to see them again x

The Cypriot bbq we had for our main wedding breakfast was lovely, all the meat was roasted on spits over charcoal so it had the lovely bbq grilled flavour, the guys we very helpful and offered our guests extra portions if they wanted them at the end which i know was much appreciated. The service was friendly easy going and professional and they even had time and were more than willing to help with other aspects of the wedding like setting out our wine glass, pouring the toast drinks for us it all really help and made the day a lot more less stressful, thankyou Jenny

I had previously been let down by some caterers for my wedding day so was not feeling very confident at all, Happy Hogs Catering were great, they put my mind at rest and were totally on the ball. I didn't have to chase them, they ensured they had everything they needed from me to ensure a great day. The food was great, the service was fantastic and was a real talking point of the wedding!
I had total trust in them for the big day which is what every bride needs and they were extremely professional! Something that seems to lack so much from some companies!

Our package consisted of canapes, hog roast, salads and desserts with a veggie option for a very reasonable amount to cover 100 guests, we thought this was amazing value to get a full wedding breakfast for this. The hog was lovely and many of the guests had extra portions and the spare meat was left behind for us too, overall the experience has been easy, no hassle, very helpful in recommending things to us and the day went without a hitch, perfect! I live in London but my family are from Yorkshire so we had our wedding in Sheffield at the weekend. I wasn't looking forward to planning a wedding so far away from our venue but we found everyone we wanted close to our chosen venue with ease. We had happy hogs catering provide us with their hickory hog roast with potatoes, salads and desserts, it sounds like something that bit different and it lived up to its name, it was beautifully done, not over powering on the hickory just enough to taste it without too much smoky flavour, the salads were fresh and lots of them, some of our guests had 2nds and 3rds which was nice for them and nice to see that there was enough, I’ve been to weddings and you get a chicken breast, 3 potatoes and small amount of veg not what we wanted. To top of the excellent service, great quality food and value for money we had we are still receiving great comments even after our wedding about the food, brilliant. Thank you Lou
